Elike Foundation Administrator Inspects Ongoing Project in Demete, Klefe
The Administrator of Elike Foundation, Mr. Festus Tandor, visited Demete, Klefe, on February 23, 2025, to inspect the ongoing Elike Foundation Center Project and meet with volunteers.

The Harmony Center, once completed, will serve as a yoga center and a library for the community.
In an interview, Mr. Tandoh emphasized that Elike Foundation is committed to bringing development to Demete, the Volta Region, and Ghana as a whole. “Elike simply means to be strengthened and deeply rooted, and we are here for the people of Klefe, Demete, the Volta Region, Ghana, and the world at large,” he stated.

He further explained that the foundation aims to support the people of the region, protect the environment, and empower humanity.
Expressing his satisfaction with the progress of the project, he said, “So far, so good. I’m impressed with the gradual progress we are making.”
He acknowledged the challenges involved in such an initiative but remained confident that, with dedication and diligence, the project would be successfully completed.
Mr.Festus anticipated the center would be ready by April.
Speaking about the future of the organization and its benefits to the community, Mr. Tandoh noted that Elike Foundation was not established for personal gain but to support and uplift the community.
He highlighted that the foundation would assist vulnerable individuals in Demete by providing access to quality education, clean water, sports, healing, and other basic necessities of life.
Encouraging the volunteers, he stated, “To help humanity is to directly help yourself.”

Mr. Tandoh also revealed that the foundation’s current project serves as a foundation for a larger vision.
The center will include a library, a conference center, an ICT lab, an art center, a yoga center, and a sound studio. Additionally, it will feature two football pitches for training and matches, accommodations for volunteers, and an academy.
The volunteers expressed their gratitude for Mr. Tandoh’s visit, and he, in turn, was pleased with the progress and their dedication. “Trust me when I say I am so pleased and happy to meet you all. God bless you,” he said.
In the coming months, Elike Foundation plans to embark on donation drives in schools and the community, visit homes for charitable contributions, and organize reading and poetry events at the Harmony Center to encourage learning among children.
