Media Engagement with the Former President H.E John Dramani Mahama in Ho
Former President John Dramani Mahama addressed the media in Ho on August 16, 2024.
As the National Democratic Congress’s candidate for the 2024 general election, Mahama has been campaigning across the Volta Region since August 13.
He arrived in Ho on Tuesday, where he met with Torgbe Afede XIV Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State and his elders. His visit drew a large crowd and featured a vibrant display of local culture.
During a media engagement on Friday, John Mahama outlined his vision for Ghana and its youth if elected for a second term.
The former president criticized the current administration for failing to address the water crisis in Accra, promising that his administration would prioritize improving access to clean water.
Mahama also discussed plans to expand agricultural initiatives, aiming to bolster the sector by farming along the river banks.
