During discussions with Mr. Richard Sumah, a campaign member, it was emphasized that the Volta region is like a second home for Hon. Kyerematen. He has a comprehensive development plan for the region and is eager to implement it if allowed to become president.

Mr. Sumah highlighted Hon. Kyerematen’s genuine concern for the people of Volta, recalling the compassionate support he provided to the residents of Mepe during the Akosombo Dam spillage.

He outlined Alan’s vision to establish three major agro-processing factories in the region, taking advantage of its fertile lands.

Mr. Sumah explained that this initiative would include extensive cassava plantations and commercial farming, which could create numerous job opportunities to run a 24-hour economy.

He noted that with these developments, many residents could secure employment, contributing to a vibrant local economy.

Mr. Richard stated that Alan plans to divide Ghana into strategic zones to enhance developmental projects.

The Eastern Region would serve as the research hub, while the Volta Region would focus on skill development.

This initiative would cover various skills, including electrical work, automotive repair, plumbing, and steel binding, positioning the Volta Region as a center for a wide range of vocational training.

Alan also plans to revitalize education in the region and assist traders by providing access to venture capital, allowing them a minimum of six months before they need to pay interest.

He noted that their current campaign is more of a caravan tour than a full-scale campaign, yet it has garnered significant attention from the people of the Volta region.

He urged the media to help spread their message to the community, as this would contribute to improving the livelihoods of the people in Volta should they be given the mandate in the upcoming election to lead the country.
