Mr. Gershon Wosor and his family were assaulted in their home on Wednesday at 7:40 p.m. by a gang led by a neighbour named Selorm at Ben Total.
Mr. Gershon Wosor, who is physically challenged, was having a meal with his wife at home when two men entered. He greeted them and asked what they wanted, suddenly, one of the men named Selorm, who was holding a Vody drink, poured it onto his clothes.
He then picked up a fight with Mr. Gershon’s son. As the two young men struggled, Selorm pushed Mr. Gershon’s son to the floor and bit his chest and the right finger.
Mr. Gershon struggled to push Selorm off his son, who was on the floor, as neighbors and others watching a football game at a nearby center rushed to separate the two.
According to Mr. Gershon, Selorm became aggressive with him after being separated from his son, grabbing his arm with his teeth and accidentally striking his mouth, which caused severe pain in his teeth and left his mouth bleeding.
Mr. Gershon, who is a teacher, and Selorm have a long-standing misunderstanding, during which Selorm vowed to assault Mr. Gershon. Selorm had previously damaged Mr. Gershon’s car with his tricycle. Mr. Gershon reported the threats to the police, but the authorities were slow to address the issue.
Speaking to Mr. Gershon’s wife, who was also a victim of the gang’s assault, she mentioned that her hair was pulled and she was slapped by one of the young men who came with Selorm.
