22-year-old Ruth Osei was electrocuted while visiting her boyfriend in Sokode Lokoe.
Ruth Osei, a young woman from Kumasi, was electrocuted while visiting her boyfriend in Sokode Lokoe.
The incident occurred when Ruth, 22, was reportedly heating water when she accidentally plunged her hand into the electrically charged liquid, leading to a severe electric shock that left her fighting for her life.
Ruth is currently receiving medical treatment at Ho Municipal Hospital, where she was rushed after the accident. Reports indicate that she has since been transferred to Ho Teaching Hospital for further care as her condition remains critical.
Her boyfriend, identified as Prince, an electrician residing at Nima, Sokode Lokoe, is now under scrutiny as authorities investigate the incident’s circumstances. The landlord, a man named Nicholas, is also being questioned by the authorities.
Sadly, the whereabouts of Ruth’s family are currently unknown.
